YOGA PDF Print E-mail

Yoga is run by instructors who are specifically trained to work with children with physical and cognitive disabilities. Students learn breathing techniques, self-calming strategies, balance, muscle strengthening and elongation and much more. There are two yoga sessions; the first is a parent/child session. The parent helps the child stay on the mat and, under the supervision of the instructor, complete each yoga pose. The second class, is for children who are more advanced and can do most poses independently and can stay on their mat without continuous instruction. Yoga is open to people ages 2-18 with all disabilities.

Yoga is held the first and third Wednesday of each month in the evenings, to register contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it at (713) 838.9050, ext.309.
