FAMILY DAY OUT Family Day Out, a center-based Respite service, provides respite care on Saturdays to families of children with all types of disabilities (ages 6-14). Each session is staffed by a nurse and a center director. The children benefit from arts and crafts, games, and playground activities and receive one-to-one assistance from volunteers. PARENTS NIGHT OUT ESGH was proud to assume the programs, including Parents Night Out, of the Houston Area Respite Center on January 1, 2011. Parents Night Out is a Friday night out-of-home Respite program currently held in three locations around the Houston area. Children, teens, and young adults with disabilities are welcome. Depending on age and activity level, one of the three locations can be recommended for appropriate care. FRIDAY NIGHTS: FALL/WINTER DATES: Tidwell: 6:30 to 10 p.m for clients ages 6-14 and siblings ages 6-10 Bellaire: 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. for clients ages 6-24 and siblings ages 6-10 Parents Night Out will be closed on the following dates: **Easter Seals follows school closings in the event of inclement weather.
