Thank you for your interest in Easter Seals Greater Houston's Adult Program. Clients involved in the Easter Seals Adult Program are adults who have experienced barriers with social integration and opportunities due to their physical disabilities. We provide a safe environment for adults to socialize with one another and participate in activities enjoyed by all adults. We strive to broaden their experiences and introduce them to new things.

Easter Seals Adult Day Program has three components:
1) Day Program: A social group that meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
2) Bowling: Meets (typically) the first and third Saturday of each month at AMF Windfern Lanes
3) Field Trips: Field Trips are scheduled throughout the year to the Houston Zoo, Astros games, museums, Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and more!


Please note: To be eligible for Easter Seals Greater Houston's Adult Program, an individual must have a developmental disability as a primary disgnosis (eg. cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, mental retardation, etc.). Individuals must be able to provide self-care with regards to feeding and grooming, with minimal assistance. Any individual who exhibits aggressive behavior or is potentially a danger to self or others will not be allowed to attend.

Clients should be at least 30 years old as the activities planned are geared towards adults. Please see the attached eligibilty checklist below for further clarification as to who qualifies for the program.

BOWLING
Easter Seals offers bowling activities on the first and third Saturday of each month at AMF Windfern Lanes, 14441 Northwest Freeway, Houston, Texas 77040.
